Senior Energy Access Specialist

Maÿlis holds an MSc in Sustainability, Business and Innovation from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montréal. She is a Senior Energy Access Expert with more than eight years of experience in the energy access and mini-grid sector, complemented by four years of prior experience in project management within the aerospace sector.
Her expertise includes energy access policies and regulations, feasibility studies and market assessments, business plan development, financial modelling, and the development and implementation of decentralized renewable energy projects. She combines strong technical expertise in energy access with extensive experience in managing complex projects and coordinating diverse stakeholders. Prior to joining us in 2019, Maÿlis worked in the aerospace industry and as a research assistant in rural electrification. She is based in Vienna and speaks French (native), English and German.
