Energy Access Specialist

Thomas holds a BSc and a MSc in Renewable Energies from University of Applied Science in Berlin. He joined us in 2018 and has been working on a variety of projects ranging from technical design of minigrids, providing TA to minigrid developers, to carrying out feasibility studies and technical due diligences. Between 2020 and 2024 he was based in Lomé, Togo, as a long-term expert providing mini-grid know-how to the rural electrification agency under a consulting contract with GIZ ProEnergie. More recently, he has been primarily involved in developing investment cases for UNICEF focusing on the electrification of healthcare and educational facilities. Thomas speaks German, French and English.
